2026 New Council Seminars 

OML Newly Elected Council Members Seminars – 2026

The Ohio Municipal League will conduct seminars for newly elected council members in 2026.

These seminars are held on Saturdays for convenience and feature identical programs at each location. Seminars are information only and do not include certification.

Veteran members of council and other municipal officials are also welcome to attend.

Seminar Schedule:
Saturday, February 7 – Cincinnati Marriott Northeast, 9664 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, 45040 (Closed, Room Capacity)
Saturday, February 21 – The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center, 100 Green Meadows Dr. S, Lewis Center,  43035  (Closed)
Saturday, March 7 – Embassy Suites Rockside, 5800 Rockside Woods Blvd, Independence, 44131

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at all locations.

Prices:
OML Member:            $125 
Non-Member:             $175
 
Multiple registrations may be paid with one check or one credit card transaction.

Confirmation & Materials:
Registered participants who have paid will receive the confirmation email on Wednesday the week of the seminar date selected. Materials may be printed or downloaded to personal electronic devices. Please note that some presenters may choose not to share materials in advance.

Important: 
Emails are sent through the same system used for the OML Legislative Bulletin. Anyone who has “unsubscribed” from that list will need to re-subscribe or use a different email address to receive seminar materials.

Refund & No-Show Policy:
Cancellations must be emailed to info@omlohio.org., No refunds will be made unless cancellation is received in writing at least 7 days prior to the seminar date., No refunds will be issued for “no shows.”

January 30 for the February 7 Seminar
February 13 for the February 21 Seminar
February 27 for the March 7 Seminar
